A Pacific Northwest Garden Oasis
Experience the year-round beauty of Whitney Gardens & Nursery in Brinnon, Washington, a Pacific Northwest Garden where nature thrives in every season. Our seven-acre garden features majestic rhododendrons, some over 80 years old, alongside younger blooms, creating a stunning display. These are complemented by a diverse array of magnolias, maples, camellias, conifers, and a growing selection of perennials, bulbs, and ornamental trees. Early blooms begin in February, with peak color from late April to May, when rhododendrons, azaleas, and flowering trees reach their prime. Fall brings a brilliant display of foliage from mid-October to November, and visitors can also witness the spawning chum salmon in the creek from November to December.
Open year round, except for our holiday closures of Thanksgiving day, and Dec 24th-Jan 3rd yearly.

What our Visitors are Saying: “Located on 101 this place is very easy to find, access, and exit. It’s worth the stop even if it’s only for a walk-through. Many amazing plants with huge old rhododendrons. They ask for a $1 donation for a walk-through. The staff is very knowledgeable with no pressure sales. There’s also lots of the usual garden tools and supplies. There’s a gazebo in the front to hangout with free wi-fi. Although not designated or designed as such, a lot of the garden is handicapped accessible.” Chris D.
