Over 15,000 people visit us each year. Some return annually to share stories, see new additions to the garden and get re-acquainted with our world.
Whitney Gardens is adjacent to the Dosewallips River where it fans out into the glacially-formed Hood Canal. You can dig for world famous clams and oyesters or hike through the Brothers Wilderness. Enjoy the eagles, great blue herons and seals. You may even catch a glimpse of the elk herd as it passes by.
